Just my luck...We just laid out a small fortune for a Stearn's & Foster Mulberry Green (non pillowtop) at Sears and NOW I find this forum. (sigh)
I have no idea if we made the right choice but my wife had to have this particular mattress and man was it expensive. I did read somewhere's to BEWARE OF PILLOWTOPS, so I hope that was at least one good money-saving decision I did make successfully. Sears tells us we have 30 days to return this if it doesnt' "work" for us, but I do believe there is some fee to return. Consensus on S&F......Should I return and go another route for my monies worth in a better mattress? Any advice from this point on ? I'm all ears. This message was modified Mar 9, 2011 by hbrocks

Since you have 30 days to try out the bed and returning it now or in a few weeks will not make much of a difference, I would try out the bed for 3 weeks and then make a decision. If it is too firm or too soft, if you need a soft latex topper or if you want to return it and try a latex kit with split cores so you and your wife can each adjust your individual sides of the bed to fit your comfort level. Their is a topper that goes over the split cores so you don't realize they are split. |
Thank you Lynn, that's a great suggestion. I've been reading the Topper threads here and I think your suggestion is already answering my next question about I have about toppers.....Do I buy 2 twins or one big king? I'm looking at the SLAB.com site because of other's recommendations. We also are in need of a frame.....Hopefully I can pick one up off the shelf at JC Penny or another local store?
Thanks |
