on one side  the last 12 inches  there are no holes,  in the 1 inch latex topper I ordered  can someone tell me if this makes any different?

I wouldn't worry too much about it if it feels okay. Does that 12" area feel fimrer or softer than the rest?

I would try with the 12" at your feet (assuming the problem is at one end).

Agree with sandman:  put 12 inch at your feet and you will never know that there aren't holes there.  That part would

feel firmer because there are more pounds per inch/foot of spring like resistance, but your feet won't know.

As long as the rest of it is OK.  YOu would have paid $86 more for essentially same product at SLAB.

It does seem pretty clear that FBM is selling 2nds without making it clear up front, and that their descriptions are often not accurate.
