The ratings for these are as follows:
I don't like beds that are too soft, I like some firmness and supportiveness but without feeling like im lying on a rock (I work in IT and get aches and pains on my body, hence wanting latex for the pressure relief)... but the problem is despite laying on a latex I have never slept on one, so am not 100% sure how to judge this effectively. So before I press the order button... would you guys say that it would indeed be a good idea to go a hardness grade up to H3 RG80 on a large natural latex mattress, if there are going to be two people sleeping on it? As for the hardness ratings they're not complicated to understand and explain it quite clearly on the page... H2 is for "up to 80KG" and H3 is for "120KG and lower", which just means it will be more suitable for two people whereas the H2 would have been a bit soft for the combined weight of two. I went ahead and bought one anyway... should recieve it early next week... i'll let you know how it goes! Just to clarify, with latex, there does not have to be a gap in the middle. You can have 2 seperate firmnesses in a King size bed, one side softer, one side firmer, with no gap down the middle, they just sit next to each other. Look at Flobeds.com for the idea of what I mean. But anyway, since you did buy one of these, let us know how it goes. |
