Doesn't have to be latex but I have not had good experience with non-latex toppers. They break down VERY quickly (except for Omilon) and latex even in soft ILD provides some support. If you like poly foam (if it works for you) that is great. You're right, it's cheaper. I'm not a fan of latex as a topper either, or have not been in the past but now it's working for me. May be the wool mattress pad I'm using on top of it that makes me like it now, or maybe I've just gotten used to the feel... |
