Questions for all the latex sleepers

Just wondering how the motion transfer is with the latex mattresses that have layers that are not laminated. I know it is very good in a regular latex mattress, but didn't know if the layers not being laminated would affect that. How is the edge support, is it the same feeling across the mattress? Also for anyone with a Sleepez 10,000 mattress in king size, I am wondering how much it weighs. Kind of random questions, but was curious. Thanks a lot.

Mike,

I have owned my SleepEZ latex  series 13,000 for over almost four years. The 13,000 is a 4-layer non-laminated mattress.

Regarding the motion transfer: it is much better than a coil mattress. I am a restless sleeper while my Wife sleeps very still and she has yet to comment about the motion from me tossing & turning .Whenever we stay at a Motel on a spring mattress I know I disturb her sleep.

The edge support is OK-not as good as a spring mattress but certainly useable for when I tie my shoes on the edge of the bed.

The matress is only slighly heavier than my older Stearns & Foster coil mattress.Plus, it has 4 separate layers to deal with but if you are trying to move it all a whole it is harder than a coil mattress as the bed tends to "bow".

Hope this helps.

Jeff
