Ready to make my first latex mattress purchase: HELP!!!

Ok, ok -- did enough research to convince myself that a latex mattress is the way to go for me now.  I have looked at Latex International for information and several of the manufactores who use their product.  Thus far -- I know I want a size queen mattress made with latex foam manufactured using the Talalay process because it's exceptional durability and resilience.  Hopefullly, it will be a mattress that is within my budget ($1200-$1800).

This is what I need help with,.  Which of the so many makers/companies would you suggest I consider.  I have narrowed it to the following companies:  Sleep EZ, FloBeds, PureRest Organics and Habitat Furnishings.  What is your personal experience with your mattresses with any of these companies?  How satisfied are you with their costumer service, policies and overall product?  If there is another company you prefer, would you share such information?  Thanks so very much for all of your assistance.  I can't wait to order my new latex bed soon!!!

Lastly, would you recommend that I also purchase a foundation/box?  I believe that I want to have a lower bed and having a box will make bed tall...What do you think?

I bought from Flobeds and they have very good customer service and return policy. They may charge a bit of a premium for that, so not sure if they will fit in your budget or not. They also charge some shipping and tax for California residents.

If you know what layers you want, you can also try sleeplikeabear.com. I have never bougth from them, so I can't testify to their customer service. I think they have a return policy, but you would need to check on that. If I knew exactly what I wanted, I probably could have saved a little money buying from them or Sleepez (mainly tax and shipping).

You can't go wrong with flobeds. There are others that are good, but flobeds seems to have the best sleep guarantee for latex.
Another cheaper alternative with high quality foam (though not as high quality as latex) with an even better warranty is: overnightmattress.com. They use M-Grade foam which is a type of HR foam, I believe. And memory foam. Though personally I'd just use their M-grade base and put my own toppers on it.
That's IF you are sold on a non-innerspring mattress. Personally I prefer an innerspring mattress with my own hiqh quality foams in it.
