I just went to Mattress Firm and tried the Sealy Posturepedic Irresistible Cushion Firm mattress.  I liked the way it feels, but am worried about getting burned for $700.  (I am a student and got burned by my Beautyrest that needs replaced after 4 years.) Here are the Stats for the "Irresistible" matress.  Any advice would be SO appreciated!!!

  • Support Layer - TitaniumCoil™ DSi/IS, 560 Coil Count, 660 Queen Coil Density, SitRight™ Edge System
  • Comfort Layers - 2" SealyFoam®, CoreSupport™ Center
  • Covering - FlameGuard™ Rayon Fiber, 2 layers of 0.75" Hypersoft®
  • Box Spring - StayTight™ Foundation
  • Hight 12.25"

Also, what's the difference between "560 coil count" and" 660 queen coil density"?

I forgot to add, it's also a little shorter than standard.  I don't know if that's due to normal variance, or if they make all of this model a little short.

Thanks Susan!  This mattress shopping thing has thrown me for a loop.  There is so much research to be done! It seems as though the 2011 Sealys are better made than some of their older models.
