And the search continues.....Latex topper
I started this process about one month ago. Ive done my research and listened to the comments on this board. I have asked three companies for samples and only heard from one. Still waiting on Sleep like a Bear and SleepEz....have called both back to find out where are the samples. We will see. I have two more questions for you guys..... What is the product like from Foam by Mail. My first impression was the product wasn't that great...but recently I have heard its ok. What do you guys think that have product from them? Also, what do you think about, instead of a 3" Talalay topper, I get a 2" topper and some type of wool cover? I would be grateful for any feedback.... Thanks you guys :):) |
Re: And the search continues.....Latex topper
I personally think that 3" of soft foam can be too much no matter what kind it is. I would go with 2x 1" layers, that gives you flexibility, and then get a wool topper. I bought the 32ILD from SleepEZ but not sure it's soft enough for a top layer. It might be. I am using what seems to feel like a slightly softer latex layer on top of that ("found" piece; not sure what the actual ILD is) I think FBM sells a softer latex (20ILD?) I would get one of those and one 28-32ILD , each one inch thick from SleepEZ or Rockymountainmattress. I like the "natural" Talalay. Not a fan of Dunlop, at least not for a topper. I got my wool mattress pad here but its expensive! http://www.woolenmill.com/sections/Wool_Mattress_Pads.php This message was modified Feb 8, 2010 by jimsocal
