That's right, click on box, photo in upper left photo - Seems easy for someone (mfr. , retailer , whoever) to peel off, stick on another label. Photo in upper left. Notice how it is stuck on crooked too. Makes it more obvious. Two iComforts at store were like this too. This is cheesy. Law tag should be sewn into fabric cover like ... everything else has. Think about this folks, Why is it that some people report a strong odor coming from their new iComfort , and others do not? I've purchased a few memory foam toppers that stunk pretty bad when new. So, my iComfort did not smell much at all when it was delivered. How is that possible if it was bagged right after manufacturing? Does some memory foam sit out and air out before it's put into a bed? I'm just thinking, here we have a mattress with a stick on / peel off label (or should I say peel off (old) / stick on (new) label. And Serta is advertising a '120 day risk free in home trial'. Sounds like return with no fess involved. Does anyone have new Tempurpedics come in and they don't smell at all? This message was modified Aug 17, 2011 by slpngoc

I can attest my Insight smelled horrible. My dog wouldnt enter our bedroom from Friday until Monday night. My wife and I had our bedroom door closed, windows open, and ceiling fan on for the entire weekend. It dissipated enough to sleep on it Monday night, but we almost had to leave the house it smelled so bad in the entire 2000sq ft home we have. |
Just a week before I got the iComfort, I bought a Sleep Innovations 2" memory foam topper, shrink wrapped in box. whew, that thin smelled like , eeeek, memory foam , chemicals, nasty. So strange my iComfort didn't have a smell. It was supposedly manufactured 2 days before I received it. Hmmmmm. |
