SleepEz told me that me this after I told them how much I weigh etc. Their dunlop stiffness configurations that they tell is called by a rather technical name is ILD. According to SleepEz their dunlop ILD are;
Soft dunlop - 20-21 medium dunlop- 30-31 firm dunlop - 40-41 Extra firm Dunlop 44 and another latex they carry they call it talalay and their stiffness levels are: soft talalay- 20-21 medium talalay - 30-31 firm talalay -40-41 and Extrafirm Talalay - 44 My question is if SleepEz soft Dunlop feels really soft or can it get softer then these above mentioned numbers? I prefer a soft surface to sleep on because I have tried medim and hard surfaces and it has not worked. Other query is that IS soft talalay comparable in feeling to Soft dunlop?

well I posted thing (see my latest sleepez thread).
has soft dunlop ILD changed from 20-21 to 16-18 ILD now? And this has only been 2 weeks?
I wonder how 16-18 ILd would feel from 20-21 ILD? Will it feel plush? thanks This message was modified Mar 3, 2011 by xyz1ab

I have had my Sleepez 8" mattress for just a little over a week now. I got firm dunlop for the bottom layer, med dunlop in the middle and a 2" soft talalay for the top. I usually prefer a softer mattress but this configuration is perfect for me. It's plush but firm all at the same time. No pressure points on my hips or shoulders and my back feels awesome in the morning. I think the dunlop is firmer than the talalay so that if you were to compare a med dunlop to a med talalay, the talalay would be softer.
Hope this helps....
