what is flobeds V zone?

If only 1 person is sleeping on say a queen size bed.

Are there 4 different complete layers of latex and you can put one on top of each other or are there less then 4 layers of latex or what?

It is confusing.

Thanks so much! This is better.

But I still am confused as to how I can choose the V zone layer.

The web site is not clear about that.

Say again: It says to choose how many people would be sleeping on the mattress. Then I tick mark the box for 1 person.

Then size of mattress - say Queen size mattress

Then it says to choose 4 layers. That makes it confusing. It leads one to believe that the mattress has 4 layers of same width.

Then there is no selection for V zone layerand its firmness levels.

Also what is meaning of "convoluted layer" Is it firm/medium/soft or what?

Thanks again for excellent explanation.

I have an additional question- the mattres sheight is 11 inches including the 2 inch convoluted layer. Could I add another 3 inch of latex?

And does Flobeds sells Dunlop latex also?

Thanks again

I don't think the website has you pick the exact vzone layer.  I think it leaves that out, not sure why.  You would need to finalize that part over the phone with them.

As Dewey explained, the 4 layers refers to 2 on each side.  So, really you are only picking 2 if you want the same on both sides.  Then you need to pick a vzone layer over the phone with them.  They would probably have recommendations based on your criteria.

The convoluted is meant to be a soft layer.  You do not pick out a firmness.  They only have 1 firmness level.

You would not be able to add 3" inside the mattress cover without great difficulty.   You could always put in on top, but I really doubt you would want any more than the 11".

They might be able to get dunlop on a special order, but I don't think you could return or exchange.  If you really want dunlop, I would probably go with sleepez.
