well I went to a retail store today. The guy showed me mattresses made up of synthetic latex - sealy models.

The mattresses by the way have 91% synthetic latex in it.

He said synthetic latex last longer then natural latex and is better? Is this true?

Thanks.

From what I understand is that with synthetic they can control the consistency much better. Other than that I haven’t seen any evidence that one is superior to the other.

usually consistency issues with latex are almost non-existent even with the worst of the worst.  It is tricky to be consistent when you are blending synthetic and natural latex together...in which case this is why for blended rubber the Talalay process helps the consistency because of the freezing and vacuum sealing of the moulds.  (Some Dunlop latex is vacuum sealed as well)
