I looked at allura. It is about 14 inches deep. how is it?

how do you find sheets for this deep thick mattress? from where? what price?

what pillow do you use on this mattress? from where did you buy it?

does this firm allura change over time? does it  become very soft?

thanks.

Like all Tempur HDs, the Allura softens to a point over the initial 60 days. Walking on it will hasten the break-in period. I've had my Allura for many years now and find it great for me. Like all Mattresses, however, the Tempurpedics depend on the specific sleeper; what position you sleep in, your weight, your hip to shoulder ratio, your bone structure, your circulatory resiliency, etc.

Pillows are the same way. Personally, I use a latex pillow due to being a side sleeper with a wider shoulder base.

Sheets for the Allura are easy to get and are categorized as "Standard Deep Pocket". The important thing to note with Tempur and just about any bed is that you don't want the sheets to be drum tight - they'll interfere with the support of the mattress. Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Amazon are all great places. I use Dream-fit 5th Degree bamboo sheets since I'm a very hot sleeper. They tend to run on the pricey side but, imo, are well worth the investment.

Goodluck!

side sleeper wt 208 lbs. what is rest? do each model of tempurpedics come specifics to specific body measurements of each person?    what is meaning of drum tight?

kohl has deep pocket sheets? from where did you get your dreamfit sheets?

also what happens after 60 days? does allura stops softening? someone said his allura is still firm after 3 years.
