After receiving my latex topper that really smelled awful and now finding out I'm not being re-imbursed for the shipping back, I'm thinking go with a new comfortable traditional mattress .  The more I read about Saavta, the better it looks.  Anyone own one for more than a year or so to give feedback on how it holds up.

At this time I'd rather not say.  I returned the topper and waiting to hear if I'll be reimbursed for the shipping cost.  It was a Dunlop mattress topper.  I purchased 2 talalay pillows and although they have a slight odor, it's not bad.  The topper was a very different smell and just seemed to get stronger by the hour.   I was planning on getting a firm mattress and using this topper for cushioning and support, as I am a side sleeper.  The Saavta mattress seems great, I just keep hearing about how pillowtops (or eurotops ) don't hold up.  That is my concern.   I am not the type of person to buy and return, so I'm hoping to make the best decision the 1st time.

I have to say, I am a very skeptical person.  I also hated to take the time to go matress shopping and test matresses in stores.  After research into Saavta, I decided to try the Saavta Luxury Firm matress without hesitation to return it if I didn't like it.  I guess I have had the bed for over a month now, but since the first day, haven't paid attention to the time as we just love the bed.  Enough said about the customer service and delivery, which was all fine, but the most important is the quality and comfort of this bed.  I actually look forward to getting into this bed to relax at night!  We have a platform, so we got the 14" bed.  I've had pillowtops before, and this one is more like a cross between pillowtop and conventional.   We are extremely happy with our purchase and it is a great bed.  Not too firm, not too soft....with the 30 day $$ back, you have nothing to lose to try this bed (other than return ship cost) but I would bet you won't be returning it!

Thanks, now the decision is the luxury firm or extra firm.  On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the firmest), I like a 7.  So now it's which one.
