Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for where to try & buy a latex mattress in Canada (or are there US companies which ship to Canada?).  I'm in Montreal & am looking to invest in a good mattress.  I had a quick test trial of a bed called the Rhythmic NC mattress (by a company called EvenRest) but they don't really provide too much info on their website.  It was comfortable during the few minutes when I was laying down but I'd really like to try some other ones.

Any help/advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

any idea as to what sort of price i might be looking at for a queen?

its up there.....just under 5k for the top of the line queen with the euro dowel base.  but it is absolutely amazing.  they will have some other great alternatives for you to try though too

WOW! $5k for a queen?  I think you might do better to drive there, try them out to be sure you like latex, then buy from a US company.  I can't imagine that duties & shipping & such would take you anywhere close to $5k.  My queen size latex bed was around $2000-2200 (I don't remember).

this same bed is sold in the US for 5K USD.  but again, that was the top of the line one.

5K is definitely too steep for us at the moment but will definitely try it if I get a chance (still haven't had a chance to go there yet).....will have a look at other alternatives.

thanks again.
