Please sell your products through factory stores located through out USA.
and/or establish more factories through out USA.
This will help you gain hundreds of thousands of potential customers as most customers want proximity and convenience in trying out  mattresses.
Mattress buying should not become a hassle - the returning process specially.
One should be able to go to a store located within a convenient distance and try out the mattresses.
And I bet there are hundreds of thousands of people suffering low back pain who will agree with me here.
And most of them would just hesitate in getting a mattress set from long distance over the internet.
But would gladly go and buy the same mattress set if the factory or factory store was located within a certain convenient distance.
For me that would be around 100 miles radius to me.
Thanks so much.

I agree with you.

It would be nice if they sold through stores in Canada while they are at it.

Alas, sometimes in life things are not ideal and hence one must make due.

I also do not like getting a mattress long distance over the Internet, especially when crossborder courier company bogus fees issues are involved.

One of the few things I hate more than that, though, is how 99% of the mattresses that I know of which are sold locally are filled with PU garbage.

That is to say, although it sucks having to buy a mattress online, I'm probably gonna do it anyway, because being stuck with PU sucks even moreso.

I totally agree with all your points, though.

Confusedbuyer, There are a number of Canadian retailers of latex mattresses. Obasan, Foamite, Natura ... all are made in Canada ... but unlike www.paderno.com pots which are manufactured in PEI ... and are on sale right now ... they are expensive.

there is a fortune to be made in this industry, seems so far latex and foam arent really the ultimate answer for sleep science

whoever finds the ultimate sleeping system will be very rich and have many fans...

what could it be?

air? sleep number has that

latex and foam are limitless sources, has to be another way

air, and spring mattresses still require some type of upholstery material to be truly comfortable.  obviously cheap foam is not the answer and higher quality memory foam and/or good quality natural rubber is a much better cushioning material.  however if all foam is bad and no foam is best, then the best bed in the world is probably something like a Hastens because its all just the very best quality natural fillings.  Although many people would argue that even though beds in that category are very good, may not be worth the extra premium they command.
