Hello everyone.

Just found this forum tonight and I am so thankful.  I have learned so much just reading the first 6 pages or so.  I've learned what the "S" companies are, that my decision to go with Latex is probably a good one, and that "Phoenix" is a wonder writer.  I loved the story he wrote about how he knows so much.

BACKGROUND:

I've been in the market for new beds for 2 years, having tried several.  I am soooooo done with springs, and yet need support.  We had a foam from Sams, and it would good, but broke down pretty fast.  We just returned the Temperpedic Cloud Supreme.  It was very comfortable when we would lay on it in the store.  At home, as we warmed it up with our bodies, it enveloped us.  And yes it support us, but the best way I can put it is that it supported our problematic backs.  So, if I'm shaped like an "S" it would keep me all nice and snuggled up...shaped like an "S" and hot.

We had tested a Latex at the Mattress Factory, and I liked it, but I bought a pillow from them for 50.00 that is latex and I can't use it because it stinks.  I've put 7 pillowcases over it, and it smells like a tire factory still.  And I can't return it, so, I'm afraid of the bed.

We just got home from another 6 hours of bed shopping and I'm just so dismayed.  We went to the Sleep Number Bed store, but to pay 6K for a bed that feels like a glorified pool float, well...

So we end up at the mattress discounters place and the best bed I've laid in for a very long time is a Serta Vera Wang called "Glorious."  Its' talalay(sp) latex.  And we want the adjustable frame thing, too.

So, we're gonna do it.  I swear.  Convince me not too, BUT......you have to have convince me of what I should get too.  :)  Well, not really, but that would be nice, as I'm so weary.

We need to get a split king, adjustable.  I'm afraid of not laying on a bed first.  So, we're in Pittsburgh (Go Steelers) and would appreciate your help.
