I have been trying to sleep on my Tempurpedic Cloud for over a month now hwile I have been hunting for a new mattress. My trial is running out and I want to start getting some better sleep right away. My problem with the Tempurpedic is that when I wake up for whatever reason after falling alseep I cannot move very well, and therefor can not get comfortable again. Rolling over or scooting closer to my girlfriend is too much effort at 4am. On top of that I am starting to wake up with sore shoulders. I have narrowed it down to a Beautyrest Plush Firm Classic 1 or.... Natural Response Gentle Breeze. Both are in the same price range. I have combed through the internet and have found very little on the Sears Latex line "Natural Response" specifically the "Gentle Breeze" mattress. Has anyone found a good review on tis line? Anyone own one? All I have found is that it is part of King Koil and there are very mixed and extreme reviews on King Koil. Further more, I see no difference whatsoever in these two models: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_08257705000P?vName=&cName=&sName=&mv=cmp http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_08258705000P?vName=&cName=&sName=&mv=cmp Besides the specific help on the Natural Response line, does anyone reccomend staying away from Latex all together due to my experience with Tempurpedic? I am leaning towards the Beautyrest because I feel like I just might be a more traditional matress person. Laying on them in the store though I prefer the Natural Response. HELP!!!!! I guess my advice would be based on whether or not Sears will refund you the full difference if you took a basic Simmons Beautyrest. It might almost be the better option....I see just as much polyurethane foam if not more being used in this "latex" mattress as you typically see in most pillowtop mattresses anyway. Based on what a lot of forum members have posted up since I have joined and I now have a better idea of the American market place you can do substantially better than this mattress for the price if you want to go latex. I thought Sears is one of the few places that does full refunds? |
Thanks. I read that I should stay away from polyurethane foam because it will cave in. I didn't think the Natural Response bed had any. Is it diguised in a different name? How am I suppose to know if it is Polyurethane or not? Here is what the display at the store says about the mattress for reference: Quilt: 1 layer of Safeguard fibers; 1 layer of Super Soft Perfect Contour foam; 1 layer High Performance foam Upholstery: 1 layer if Conform Latex; 1 layer of Everclous Latex; 1 layer of Super Soft Extended ComfortLife Technology (ETC) Waves Support System: Lumber Support Latex Band with Ventilex; Perfect Form Natural Core (soy-based); 1 layer of Balance Base foam Foundation (box spring?): Renewable Wood Foundation
Also, the link says the set is $2,000, but it is 50% off after you add to cart. |

Tempur Cloud: http://www.tempurpedic.com/mattresses/tempur_cloud/tempur_cloud/ |
Other than TP's own advertisements, I don't think I have read a good review of the Cloud and Cloud Supreme models, unlike the overwhelmingly positive reviews for most of their other models. My theory is that buyers are lured into buying those models in the store due their softness, but later suffer pain due to lack of support from such soft foam. |
