Thank you in advance to those who help me with this issue. I'm currently looking for a queen matress and have a budget of around $2000. After some research and "test driving", I've decided that I'm between two types of matresses: air and memory foam. On the air side I like the Garden Sleep System by Natural form.

My girlfriend and I slept on this bed at a Hilton Garden Inn and loved it. We literally coudn't get out of bed it was so comfortable. I also get a $300 military discount bringing the total with delivery to about $2200.

On the memory foam side: I went to a "Relax the Back" store today

and tried a few memory foam matresses. The Tepur ones were OK, but their house brand was what was most comfortable (http://www.relaxtheback.com/sleep/mattresses/purerelax-mattress.html) They also had a mechanical frame that could raise the head and feet for $1700 (http://www.relaxtheback.com/sleep/adjustable-bases-foundations/contoursleep-zero-gravity-adjustable-base.html).

Now they have a floor model that included the adjustable frame and mattress for $2000 (The store associate originally lead me to believe via a misguiding flyer that the bed was $1200 total, imagine my frustration) that I'm considering buying, but I'd like advice as to whether this is worth it. There are no returns, but there is a 20 year warranty. The associate gave me the "we're already breaking even, this is as low as we can go" but in other's experience, is there a chance I may be able to get him to knock a couple of hundred dollars off the price? Also, does anyone have experience with these brands? $2300 (the price after tax/delivery) is a hefty investment, but I'll pay it if others with experience think it's a sound purchase. Any advice is greatly appriciated.
