Hi, We purchased the ARA 13 inch king. I think it had 7 inches of memory foam. I liked it (130 lbs) more than my husband (160 lbs). He felt like it sank too deep and woke him up when he turned over. When you first sit on the bed it feels very firm, then it sinks in. I think maybe 7 inches is just too much. We returned it - no hassle.

Can't beat Costco! They will even come back and get the bed, included in the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've taken back all the beds I've bought from Costco, even after a year.

Did it sink in 7 inches when ONLY ONE of you (which one?) slept on it or did it sink 7 inches when BOTH of you slept on it?
why did you like the ARA bed mattress  set? do you yourself have a herniated disk and low back pain from it?

Did you buy the whole ARA set or ONLY the ARA mattress?

Did you buy any other memory foam set from Costco?
If you did let me know how it worked out?

thanks so much

sorry for the delay - don't visit the forum consistently. It did not sink in 7 inches. The Ara had 7 inches of memory foam. We had both the mattress and the foundation. I liked it more than my husband because I don't sink in as much. When you first sit on the mattress it feels like a rock, then in seconds it sinks in. For my husband he felt like he was trapped. He only weighs 160 lbs. We didn't get it for any specific back pain reason but several aches and pains while sleeping, hips, numb shoulder, pressure points.

Hi, I bought the mattress and foundation on this by the way. The smell was pretty strong especially at first. We had the bed for about a month and you could still smell it, but we had sheets on it the whole time -- never left it to air out for a few days. We did not buy any other memory foam mattress.
