Slimline Mattress?

I have a lovely sleigh bed and do not want a mattress that will be overly deep as it will spoil the profile of the bed. Is there such a thing as a supportive mattress and box spring combo today that is not so deep? Which brands would be most higly rated? Thanks. Martha |

| You can certainly buy low profile box springs that are about half the height of regular ones. |

| I would find the mattress and then determine the height of foundation that the bed will take - - we are in same sort of situation and have found foundations as low as three inches and mattresses fanging from nine to fifteen - trick is to determine how much space you have to work with from your beframe to mattress top. There are work-arounds. |
