Softness of egg crate but not as caving in?

I tried a 1 inch memory foam but I found I liked the feel of my egg crate toppers better (the softness). However after a night or two, they are caving in (I folded 2 together).  Is there something I can get that would provide the softness of the egg crate toppers without feeling like I'm making a big depression in it all the time? For reference, I'm a stomach/side sleeper and am looking for something to soften up my new very firm mattress.  I feel like I'm almost on the right track, but the egg crates lately have been waking me up to constantly re-position them.

Sorry to be impatient but could anyone advise?  Should I just get a heavier density egg crate pad or try latex? thanks!

You probably should get one made out of latex.  That should not cave in.  This place has convoluted talalay latex.  I have never tried it, so not sure of quality.  Flobeds uses them in their mattresses, so they might sell you one seperately.  If you google search, I am sure you can find others.  They probably vary in firmness, so you would have to try to figure that out.
