| This is a different web site but it has the same location as foambymail.com and recent reviews here for their products have been positive. i don't know how difficult it is dealing with customs. |

Serehya, I didn't know the product I posted is dunlop....where does it say that? I must have missed it. Thanks for the link. That looks good, not to mention very reasonable in price! If your bed is now "heaven on earth" I'll send an email to them asap. **fingers crossed they ship to Canada!" |
| It didn't say whether the topper you posted was dunlop or talalay, it did say it was mix of latex and cotton. I was just giving you my experience with an overly firm bed. Hopefully they'll deliver to Canada for a reasonable rate. |

| I would be very weary of any claims from this seller. They call this an organic latex topper...it is clearly visible from the photos that the cotton they are using is not organic, I see no certification, and they just say it is latex and 'fibre' filled...I am assuming that means polyester as they do not specifically mention any natural fibre. |

Does it feel as though you're lying a slab of rubber? I know it's very hard to describe but can someone try to tell me exactly how it feels? |

I'm sure you've heard this before Doreen, but stomach sleeping is often called the worst sleeping position. There's just no way to get a natural position for your spine. I saw it mentioned - sew a tennis ball to your front and stomach sleeping days will be over. I just lay on side, arm at side and small pillow between knees. I've sampled Select Sleep's 'Plush' latex 2" mattress topper. I don't have ILD specs on that foam. Even the 2" on top of a bare mattress (springs with only 1" PU foam on top) makes things feel quite cushy on my side. You asked if a topper would be made with Dunlop process. I say no because Dunlop is a simpler, less expensive process than Talalay, and Dunlop results in denser latex foam. It would be used as a base layer in an all foam mattress, not a topper. |

There's really no place locally in canada that carries latex toppers or mattresses? It is tough to tell what works for you without trying it in person - but if you must buy it sight unseen, going in increments is the second best way to go. Could you try the FBM topper and see what you think, then if you need more, purchase another layer? Some on this forum have used the 32ild under the 20 and liked it. @slpngoc - Yes, I know stomach sleeping is bad as my physiotherapist has told me, but it's hard to break the habits of a lifetime. I've tried more than once to become a back sleeper but I suffer from insomnia as it is, so that just didn't work out. "Cushy" works for me, so thanks a lot for helping me decide what to do!! |

Just went over to www.selectsleepmattress.com/home.html , laid on plush and firm 2" latex toppers. I'm surprised at his price for a 2" firm latex topper, full size - $430 before tax and shipping, ouch! He said he would not do internet sales as he won't try to compete with their low, $150 ish prices. He says his quality is all-natural latex (all-natural latex is expensive to get the latex rubber and expensive to process it into a mattress or topper). He said he would ship anywhere, it's all a matter of cost. I laid on one of his bare individual coil mattress with only about 1" poly foam on it. I'd call it a too firm mattress. Putting the 2" firm latex on top, I would say the plushness matches that of a decent pillowtop mattress. Was this combination as good as I felt at Natural Mattress Stores $2100 Queen Clarity mattress? No. That mattress was off the hook. I hope this helps out. Could a local store like Bed Bath and Beyond order a latex topper and allow you a refund if you don't like it? |
