Hello: I just come across this forum on internet. I bought this Spring Air mattress that is supposed to be soft. At least that is how it felt in the store. But I have had horrible sleep on it. First day I slept on it with just sheets and down I went and woke with lots of pains. Well I kept waking every half an hour so very very broken sleep.
Next day I have put this dormeir wool pad on it and the mattress is now feelinga bit firmer but I am still sinking in it and but I still got very bad sleep.
My knees and hands are hurting besides my low and middle back. Also my neck is hurting. I also have neck pains now. My pilliows are thick for neck support supposedly. I am feeling i need a different pillows now for this mattress.
This mattress has 6 inches of latex on 8 inches of soy foam. The latex is 2 inch of celsion talalay then it is 1 inch of dunlop and then again it is 3 inches of talalay. Then it all rests on 8 inches of soy foam. What the hell is soy foam anyway?
First 2 days on the mattress and it does not at all feel the way it felt while in the store. Actually it feels very different. I had little or very bad sleep since last 2 days I have been sleeping on this.
The maker told me that I should give a break in period. What the hell is break in period anyway? some mumbo jumbo? I already have a hard time finding deep pocketed sheets for this 14 inch mattress. what should I do? help please. Thanks so much. This message was modified Oct 19, 2011 by Joed
