Tempurpedic Cloud softening over time--how much is too much?

I bought a Tempurpedic Cloud in June and loved it from the beginning. It felt awesome on my back. I didn't feel like it needed "breaking in."
Recently (so about eight months later), it has felt appreciably softer, and there's a little of the hammock effect. It's not huge, but it seems significant for just eight months. Is this typical breaking in or is this abnormal sag?
I spun the mattress around (it's a Queen, so there's room) and it's nice and hard and firm again, so it's not my imagination.
If it's not going to get any worse, then I'm fine, but if this is a defective, overly saggy mattress, I need to return it. What is your experience? Thanks so much! |
