How is tempurpedic foundation constructed.

Is it made of slats that are say 2 -3 inches apart?

Is it firm and flat?

Please some one with tempurpedic set let me know.

Are there any photos of the inside of the tempur foundation?

Thanks.

I'm rocking the ERGO. It is absofreakincredible. But, alas, it probably doesn't apply to your query.

Their standard foundations don't appear to be slatted. Here is the description, and the only interior graphic I found on their site:

Superior Structural Design

  • Constructed with premium, 5/8" medium density fiberboards (MDF) for increased strength and durability
  • Nail-free assembly eliminates squeak points
  • Injection molded corner braces, made of polypropylene resin, support greater lateral loads
  • Solid 1/4" MDF top is reinforced with interlocking cross braces for stability
  • Guaranteed trouble-free performance
