Untraditional(?) mattress storage and use

Hi--

I'm moving into a very small studio and thought that to save space I would sleep on my mattress without a bedframe and lean the mattress against the wall vertically during the day (and maybe hide it behind a shoji screen or something).

My only concern is that continually leaning and 'un'leaning the mattress against the wall will somehow damage it if I do this sort of thing nearly every day.

Is this concern realistic? Would you worry about damaging your mattress if you leaned it against the wall every day? The mattress is a Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress, if the info is applicable.

What are your thoughts?

I wouldnt just stand the mattress up against the wall, it will start to curve and eventually will just fall over depending on the size. But, I imagine it's not the proper support for a mattress?
