Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for where to try & buy a latex mattress in Canada (or are there US companies which ship to Canada?). I'm in Montreal & am looking to invest in a good mattress. I had a quick test trial of a bed called the Rhythmic NC mattress (by a company called EvenRest) but they don't really provide too much info on their website. It was comfortable during the few minutes when I was laying down but I'd really like to try some other ones. Any help/advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
Since you're in Quebec...you're in luck.... Go to Matelas Rene, or Matelas Bonheur they carry the best quality options in latex available today. Price is going to be a little higher though. This message was modified Apr 20, 2010 by budgy

I can also tell you that FloBeds does ship to Canada, not sure about the others out there. This might be cheaper even than some of the higher priced retail outlets in Canada. (Having a second home there I know how expensive some things are...) If you read the biased threads here about them (I say biased in a positive fashion, because I don't think there is a FloBeds buyer out there who doesn't have only the very best things to say about their quality of customer service and products.) you'll see that they sell a great product and provide outstanding customer service. I bought mine a few months ago and I can attest to this personally.
Good luck! |

WOW! $5k for a queen? I think you might do better to drive there, try them out to be sure you like latex, then buy from a US company. I can't imagine that duties & shipping & such would take you anywhere close to $5k. My queen size latex bed was around $2000-2200 (I don't remember). |
this same bed is sold in the US for 5K USD. but again, that was the top of the line one. |
thanks again. |
