No. You can make a firm mattress softer with a topper but you can't make a soft (sagging) mattress firmer.

No one in their right mind would pay list price for a mattress set. The going rate for the big 3 (Sealy, Serta and Simmons ) is about 50% off of list. With a little work one can get it down even more.

I have a Talalay 2"queen latex foam topper (20 ILD) from FBM on a Sealy PP Signature level 10 cushion firm mattress. Works great for me. Topper is one piece, not two glued together.

So release the chargeback, get the new mattress and chill....
