I have also a plethora of slightly used pillows around here from different stages of my life, different beds, etc. Not only are there always pillows for overnight guests, but I even donated some to the Red Cross when a fire swept through here a couple of years ago. People who are fleeing their homes in panic don't remember to take their pillows. So they helped people.
You can play with Target pillows rather cheaply. There is a really nice one that is a firm, has a light green piping on the edge. I've had a bunch of these, they work great until they go flat in the middle....but they are like seven bucks so who cares. You an also buy foam in the appropriate thickness(between 4" and 5.5" it sounds like) from a foam...

no. I am trying to match the Sams club mattress given in link by kim to the foundation. But I don't see a link to that unless ecogreen foundation goes with it. May be I missed something.
I don't see any ILDs description either. Thanks.

It is only bringing American Sleep Eco-Green Foundation that goes with American Sleep Eco-Green latex mattress. But not the one that goes with this latex mattress.
Thanks.

Looks like the Eco-Green Foundation is specified for both the Eco-Green and the Organic Mattresses (see first bullet point under "Specifications").
No ILD specs that I can find, either.
I'm 99% certain that this is going to be Dunlop latex for two reasons. One, it sounds like KimberlyH really did her homework, so I'm trusting her. Two, they make a big deal about it being all-natural latex. Most all-natural latex is processed using the Dunlop method. While all-natural Talalay is becoming a bit more...

I saw your post and I am wondering if you can share your experience on the Sleep Science Latex mattress you bought from Costco..IF you already bought it.
I read some review that says this bed is too soft and does not provide support.
My husband has back pain problems and he wants something firm..maybe with an ILD of 26 minimum.
Recently we went browsing at Mattress Giant, and we tried many beds and he liked the Tempurpedic Grand Bed.
He said it was firm and yet has the slowly-sinking feeling. But of course we are not going to spend $4000 for a Queen mattress..plus I have heard quite bad reviews of the memory foam, esp Tempurpedic.
I have a Leggett and Platt Queen Adjustable Base with Massage.
If you can...

My Experience Buying A Latex Mattress
After hours of Internet research, reading retail and manufacturer sites, over a hundred forum posts on the topic from consumers, and talking to three of the leading (non-chain) latex mattress retailers, I bought a latex mattress yesterday, put it together and had my first night’s sleep on it. A sports injury is keeping me in this weekend so I thought I’d save you many hours of research by detailing my search.
Why should you consider my advice? (1) I am a marketing professional from an industry unrelated to mattresses (and therefore able to recognize and cut through much of the marketing hype) (2) I am an obsessive researcher (3) I have a talent for sorting facts and getting to the bottom line, and (4) I’ve owned futons, spring mattresses, a water bed, and an airbed (and can...
