Worried about potentially high Casper returns before buying my parents a new bed - ottery.young@gmail.com

My parent's ancient spring mattress could use a replacement and I am thinking about a Capser but heard that they actually get a lot of returns because of the whole "one-size-fits all" situation...
Does anyone here know their return rate? (or why they would have more than the other guys like Leesa or Saatva)
Supposedly foam mattress Novosbed has fewer returns.. I am also considering these guys but my parents are not familiar with this brand and hear about Casper on the radio. Do multiple firmness options like Novosbed really lower the likelihood of returns? (I can try and figure out my parent's firmness preference first)
Apparently Casper returns are also spiking which makes me think that all their advertising is resulting in lots of people buying something they are not expecting. Would their returns be higher just because their sales have gotten so big that they are now selling to more particular...

We had a Saatva for about 2 years. Bought it because of all the great reviews and went with their EXTRA FIRM mattress. It sagged within 6 months and we started developing back and shoulder pain. We didn't realize it was the mattress that was causing us the pain, until about 6 months ago when we were approaching our two year mark with our mattress.
So I went online contacted customer service about the issue and realize the mattress only had a 2 year warranty. When we went mattress shopping we realized most manufacturers and retailers offer 10 years as the standard warranty. So the last part that really bothered me was the fact that all over their website they are promoting their use of ORGANIC COTTON. What you don't realize is that it's only in the quilting on top, written in tiny print. So in my investigation I...

I bought a SAATVA Queen bed. Great bed BUT, I can't find a mattress pad that will stay in place more than two nights.
I find that very frustrating. It's like buying a new car, but you have to sit on a 5 gallon bucket in order to drive it....

I had a similar issue with my Saatva mattress. After 3 months, it developed a deep depression. It had no support at all. In my opinion, it is not well made and there are better mattresses out there for the money....

The type of mattress each person needs varies upon personal preference. With so many variations of mattress types, often times this can be the hardest choice to make. Not to worry, below I have broken down the most common mattress types to help make your research and selection a little easier.
1. Hybrids
Constructed from a combination of latex, memory, polyurethane foams, coils, and/or other materials, these mattresses usually are designed to maximize certain benefits, while also minimizing certain cons. For example, a latex + memory foam hybrid is able to deliver great bounce, cooling, and responsiveness via the latex, but also provide great pressure relief and support from the memory foam.
Best for: Sleepers who want the best of all worlds. Great bounce, support, comfort, and cooling. A good all around option that is a very good choice for the majority of sleepers.
Example: Leesa mattress (Avena + memory foam hybrid)

I almost bought this Saatva mattress but your review really saved me. Looks like they have a great marketing machine behind this average mattress. I was even feeling bad why I paid 3x for my last Tempurpedic mattress but you get what you pay. In fact I think Saatva is overpriced for the value it provides. Anyway I cannot trust a company which carefully manages its reviews by threatening customers posting genuine reviews. This Saatva company seem to have created a great online reputation based on targeted and largely manipulated reviews. I am sad. I am going with Tempurpedic again....
