Ergo base with DIY mattress?

I've been lurking off and on for a year and I'm pretty sure I want to DIY our new bed based on what I've read here. Could you do a diy latex/foam bed and use an ergo/adjustable bed base? I wasn't sure if that would work due to the general need for a firm, slatted bed frame with the DIY latex/foam beds I've seen posted here. Thanks! This message was modified Jul 23, 2011 by AmyBeans
