Latex Mattress journey continues....
An update from my previous post, for those who are interested (http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/forum/back-pain-new-mattress-sf-hearthstone-luxury-firm/9302-0-1.html) The cushion firm latex mattress I bought (6" Plush firm natural Dunlop latex core, .75" plush firm latex on either side) turned out to have a defective core. The center was "spongy" and didn't have nearly the cushion firm feel of the edges OR the floor model. Luckily I had a fantastic saleswoman who allowed me to switch out my defective one with a floor model of the firmer version (6" firm natural Dunlop core, .75" plus firm on either side) at no charge, saved me the restocking fee that switching models would have cost. Returning the defective one and picking up the firmer version on Thursday, I'll update again after I spend some nights on it. Just thought I'd let people know there ARE defective latex cores out there and to make sure you get yours from a reputable dealer who will work with you to get it right.
