latex or memory foam topper

I just bought a cushion firm matress but it still fells too hard for my shoulder and hips. My gf and I are both side sleepers, 160lbs and 97 lbs. Would do you recommend for a topper - latex or memory foam , what size and what firmness? (I was thinking Talalay Latex Foam Topper, 2", 32 ILD.)
