Thanks for you advice and help on the other thread. I have decided to cancel my order for the Stearns and Foster mattress and go with either a memory foam matress or latex matress through foambymail.

I quickly realized that getting a euro pillowtop will be a very bad idea for me very quickly.

I have read some of the members experience on here with memory foam and latex but

I need some help on deciding which one would be the one for me from foambymail.

The memory foam matress that I would get from them is:

4" Slow Recovery Foam - 5.5 lbs/ft.3
w/ 5" LUX-HQ (Firm) Foam - 2.6-2.8 lbs/ft.2
Queen Mattress (60" x 80")

price - about $503

This is their pre-configured one.

The latex matress that they have would require me buying the latex mattress and their latex topper.

6" Talalay Latex Foam (w/ Cover)
Firm (33-38 ILD)
Queen Mattress (60" x 80") - $540

3" Talalay Latex Foam Topper
Soft (20 ILD)
Queen Mattress (60" x 80") - $250

                               Total: $790

I have never tried latex before and I'm not sure if I'll be able to try 100% latex in my area so I would need your experience here.

1.) Do you think the latex is worth the price difference?

2.) Should I get the 2" latex topper or the 3"?

3.) Does anyone have the memory foam mattress set-up and like it?

I'm trying to reduce costs so if latex set-up is only marginally better, I might get the memory foam set-up.

Thanks for your help!
