Memory foam topper question

How different will a 4lbs. density 2" memory foam topper feel when it's sandwiched in between a couple of 1" layers of latex (32 ILD underneath and maybe 20 ILD on top with a down alternative fiber bed over everything)....as compared to having the memory foam on TOP of the latex with the fiber bed over that? And, maybe I would take away the softer ILD latex, as well. Does memory foam feel better directly under the back and mattress pad or indirectly between other layers of foam?
