Hi all,
My gf and I have been sleeping on our bottom-of-the-line Ikea innerspring mattress for about 3 years and we just cant take it anymore. It's sagged and I always find myself feeling springs in my back. Recently back pains have developed and it's definitely time to make a change. I've done some research and latex seems to be a great choice for us. Memory foam isn't for us based on some things i've read, and I think latex would be a comfortable transition that would hopefully result in some sweet dreams. I'm sure I dont have to say this, but it's very overwhelming being presented with all the retailers/options and for a deal-hunter like myself, I'm struggling to get started. I do know that latex can be a bit costly and I probably have to stay under $1000 for a set. I've read a lot of good things on this forum about SleepEZ, but it seems they might be out of our price range. I'm open to other options besides an all-latex mattress - what's really important to me is that this will last us quite a few years, and we wont be sinking into it like we are now with the $200 ikea mattress. I'm located in Northern NJ and would be open to sampling some mattresses in stores, but would also buy online if the value was right. ANYTHING would be better than what we're sleeping on now, so I'm eager to spend. If anyone can help or provide any product/retailer suggestions I'd be most grateful.
Thanks! Ryan |
