All,
I am really going crazy because I have not been sleeping well and have been waking up with sore body. Let me tell you about my profile as well as mattresses I have tried:
I am a male, 6', 170 lbs. I sleep 90% on my side and 10% on my stomach. I say 10% on my stomach because while I mostly sleep on my back, sometimes when I wake up, I am in this position which is somewhere inbetween side and stomach
I have tried two mattresses and both of them have not worked for me: Mattress 1: This is a latex mattress from Sealy. I dont have any more details on it. When I sleep on this, I wake up with very sore neck and shoulders Mattress 2: This is a relatively cheap memory foam mattress from Walmart. While it worked fine in 1st month, I feel it stopped providing support soon after that. When I sleep on this, while my shoulders are fine, I wake up with a really bad backbache.
I have looked at many different places to buy latex mattress from (sleepez, foambymail, flobeds, plushbeds). Flobeds has a v-zone mattress where you get different level of firmness for your shoulders, back, hips, legs etc. This sounded really interesting but was quite expensive. I definitely dont want to go to spring mattress. Also while I know my experience with memory foam was with a relatively cheap memory foam (vs. tempurpedic which sells 85kg/m3 memory foam) but it has made me more inclined towards latex
