Hey there,

Does anyone know the density (lbs/cubic foot) and ILD/IFD of the Intelliform support layer for the Aerus mattress below? I have contacted Foamex/FXI and am still waiting on their response. Thank you!

- Base support layer: Full 7'' layer of IntelliForm support foam

John, I can't find anything on the base layer, safe to say it's poly foam with a 35 to 55 ILD.  We bought the same mattress at Sam's Club for our RV and it feels plenty firm on a solid wood surface (just barely soft enough for me.)

You could buy a one year membership at Sam's for $40, have this thing shipped and still be a couple dollars ahead compared to the Wally world price.

SleepLikeADog,

Right after I posted that message, I saw the Sam's Club deal. I agree, I think I will go with them if I end up purchasing the Aerus. I just want to know the ILD and density of the foam to determine the quality underneath the memory foam. Thanks for the reply!
