I am having severe pain radiating from below my lower back to upper back that is a new pain...thought i was allergic to latex but the symptoms are different than what the allergy would be

the pain pretty much goes away under heat pad when i get up so it is clearly related to being in the bed

i have spent so much money and time on beds that i am going crazy - this is on my costco/sleep scienced latex bed, have tried both sides, problem seems not to be related to firmness

randys/Diane: As you're both probably aware, I have a FloBeds 100% natural that I'm very happy with. But prior to this I slept for 20 years on waterbeds. The only reason I did not stay with the waterbed was that I wanted to try something else that was different.

My point is this. Why don't you try a waterbed. Get a good quality," low or no wave" waterbed mattress. I like the soft sided waterbeds because they make up just like a regular bed. This is opposed to what is referred to as a hard or solid sided waterbed.

You can adjust the water level to any that suits you. I would suggest that you also get a electric water pump when you purchase the bed, that way you can adjust the water level much more easily. The fact that you can purchase a heater with them allows you to adjust the temperature to any that suits you. There is not another bed made, that I am aware of, that gives you the infinite adjustability of a waterbed. If I were going to buy a different bed from what I currently have it would be a waterbed. Dave Turner started in the business with waterbeds, thus the name, FloBeds. You might give him a call and talk to him about this idea since you already have a working relationship with him. He's a very inventive guy and will turn handsprings in an effort to have a satisfied customer.

You have my best wishes.

Hey eagle, I am seriously considering trying a waterbed at some point in the future. I used to sleep on them and I never woke up with a sore back (but full disclosure is that I also had not been in 3 car accidents at that point). But anyway, my question is: Is there a particular brand or model you recommend? It seems to me that flobeds water beds are too expensive for a water bed. Worth it? Maybe. But I will probably try to find a less expensive one...
