So I go on Latexco web site trying to find contact information to know what goes in the Sams Club latex mattress and I go on the web site of latexco and I am reading the various latexes they make. They have many different names and it gets confusing. None says Dunlop latex. They have names like duralux, naturalux etc. It is hard for a layman to determine what typ eof latex they are exactly.
So I call the Latexco on East Coast. The guy who answers is pretty rude in addition to being vague. He tells me Latexco does not make DUNLOP latex. I ask him if they sell latex to "innomax" the company that manufactures the Sams Club Latex Mattress. He tells me the name does not ring a bell. All this time this guy is trying not to look up anything or do any work to answer my questions. Very disappointed. Now this got me more frustrated and confused so I call the West Coast office of latexco. The sale sguy tells me that latexco does make dunlop latex but again I come up empty if they sell this Dunlop latex to the company that makes this Sams Club latex mattress. He constantly tells me that I should ask the question to the company that makes this sams club latex mattress. Disappointed.
It is clear that Latexco has a very poor customer service. One guy is telling that latexco does not make any DUNLOP latex other i stelling latexco does make DUNLOP latex. What kind of people work in company and do not know if a major product is being made by their company. (If the President of the company I work for was the owner of the company he would fire these kind of people immediately, but he would not hire them in the first place either) |
I don't want to hijack this thread but I would like to ask Luke about his setup. I am on a serious budget but I need to upgrade my mattress. I have an old but firm 8 inch spring mattess on slats that is giving me back problems. How do you use the Dunlop pad? Do you have a seperate cover or do you just put the sheets over the stack?

I bought mine at mattresses.net $259 for a king size 3" zoned topper.I use it dierectly on top of my old 10" spring mattress covered with a flat sheet on the latex then I put a wool army blanket on top and then cover the whole thing (spring mattress, latex, flat sheet, army blanket,) with a fitted sheet. It stays together quite well and is on the firm side with great overall support. |
