Your Favorite Latex Pillow?
I would love to hear from everyone with a latex pillow that they really like a lot. We have a new latex mattress and are now looking for a good pillow. We are both side sleepers and when we went to try latex at a European Sleep Systems store locally, they had some wonderful pillows ($160/queen) and they determined we needed one to be Firm 1 and one to be Medium 2. I don't want to pay that much. I saw some on Overstock and Ebay but would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks! I tried to do a search here on pillows, but didn't find much information. |
Re: Your Favorite Latex Pillow?
Leo3 and narnia: I appreciate your input! I bought 2 Simmons latex foam pillows about 2+years ago (before I had ever heard of latex foam) and cannot use them. Neither can the hubby. We sink down too far into them and don't seem to have any real support on our necks, just flatness. I just checked the tag on them and it does say Louisville Bedding Co also and talalay foam with a 10 year guarantee. Based on this, I am wondering if you could describe your pillows or the way they feel as sinking down into them? I know this is a very subjective answer and 10 people would probably have 10 answers, but I would appreciate your thoughts! Does the Nature's Loft pillow do this too? I want my head to sink in some but still support my neck. |
Re: Your Favorite Latex Pillow?
What size are they? If they are standard they are too flat for me. I like Queen size one I got at Sears. I bought a standard at JC Penneys, zoned, and you sink in that one. I use the zoned one for between the knees. Go look at Sears and JCP at the Queen size ones, they are fatter, and I don't feel like I am sinking in, I love it. I have tried all kinds of pillows too. I am super picky and finicky. If you lay on the edge of the pillow you will sink (it is lower) I lay in the middle of it and have no problems. Even side sleeping I have no pillow problems. I was even thinking of trying a Kingsize pillow for reading at night. |
