Ok, so I've heard what many have said about latex on this site and very luckily, we in the SF Bay Area have a local organic mattress maker that specializes quite a bit in all natural latex beds with organic wool and cotton materials.  They have 3 Bay Area stores and manufacter in San Rafael.  This is no vapor store, they are the real deal.  Here is their website which I think you'll find very informative and a bit entertaining too.  Look up the reviews on Yelp, overwhelmingly positive  (btw, I don't work for the store in any way)  -

So, I drive to downtown Palo Alto, little busy with cars.  The gentleman in store recommends their Clarity bed which has individual coils and 3" of 97% natural latex, organic wool for fire barrier and organic cotton cover.  I tried the 'soft' bed and it was soft, but supportive.  The display pillow was too high so I laid on my side, hand on head.  Got up and browsed a bit more.

I ventured to the medium side of the Clarity and the salesman gave me a nice pillow.  I laid there for a good 5 minutes or so.  Quite heavenly.  They call their beds Eco-Cloud.  I would say floating on a cloud is not far off this experience.  The foam was so incredibly soft yet the bed was supportive.  The absence of pressure was incredible.  Mostly what I can say is SOFT.  That was the feeling.  So gently caressing.  Sounds cheesy, but I walked out of there blown away.  I walked out because a twin XL would set me back about $1900 with tax, mattress only.  Now is not quite the time for that.  Will I forget this trial experience?  Oh heck no.

I got up off the bed and said 'Bravo' (for making such an incredible bed).  I mean, everything else I've tried so far, Tempurpedics, all the name brand spring beds, pillow tops, Stearns and Foster, blah, blah, pretty much feel hard compared to this bed.  If you're ever in the SF Bay Area, they have 3 stores.  I would HIGHLY recommend trying this place.

I was truly blown away by the sampling experience, you know where you're driving away going, what?  OMG, Man I'd love to have one of those... the price, ahhh, next time around, I'll remember it.

Check this place out.  They have all latex beds with Dunlop, Talalay, geez about 15 beds in there.  I think there lowest price twin is about $1200 and highest goes well up over $2000.  They sell a natural memory foam makers mattresses by Keetsa as well which is a SF Bay Area company.  We're spoiled here!
