dont buy beautyrest mattress at Sit N Sleep

I should of not bought the second beautyrest mattress at Sit N Sleep, the first one lasted about 6 years, my fault was that I spilled tea on the mattress so it stained the mattress, therefore Simmons refused even to look at the mattress, that stain cancelled the warranty. So my back was hurting so much, and I went and bought a new Beautyrest Mattress at Sit N Sleep again, after a year, now I started to notice the mattress indented a little on the right side where i lie down on the part. I called them and they sent a third party, and sent me a note said it was normal for that little crater. I don't beleive them, so people DONT BUY BEAUTYREST AND DON'T SHOP AT SIT N SLEEP, they just want to take your money.

Worst Mattress Ever AND Expensive

I've never spent as much on a mattress - over $1600 - and gotten such a piece of cr_p in my life. I am now living with an aching back and poor sleep because they say that the mattress has sunk less than the 1.5" stated in the warranty. Folks 1.5" is a lot when the 1.5" is spread over half of your body length. Your back is not meant to sleep on such garbage. Do not ever even consider buying Simmons. You'll be sorry for years until you can afford something else. The back pain you won't believe. Their warranty people checked it out and confirmed that the foundation was not only adquate but extra so due to my placing more wood legs under the box spring set, also Beautyrest (bull) purchased at the same time. I have to turn the mattress 1/4 turn every 3 weeks so my body indentions go sideways for a few nights before I have to rotate it again.

worst experience ever!!!!!

We bought our simmons world class mattress in march and have gone through one replacement and within 2 months we had to have it "restuffed" 3 times over the next 4 months for trenching. Today 1/29/12 we went out and purchased a serta perfect trump addition. Can't handle this one anymore, it will now be a 1700 dollar fire starter!

No-flip nightmare

We purchased our top-of-the line Beautyrest mattress last February. It was our Valentine's Day gift to each other. After visiting (2) different Sleepy's mattress stores, the model we selected was the Simmons' world-class "Druscilla". (In hindsight, we should have listened to the salesman at the second store. He told us, "If you buy this mattress, you'll be back here in a year, buying another mattress". We ignored his comment because his overall attitude was awful and we felt that he was trying to make us spend more money on a different brand.) The king-size set's price ended up being around $1600. It was Simmon's BEST model and came with their highest number rating for their 'do-not-disturb' index. The first few months, the mattress was a dream. But like so many other unfortunate Simmons owners, the dream was short-lived. You guessed it.....The craters developed and became increasingly worse, forcing you to remain in the same spot on the mattress. Both of us are side-sleepers and I truly believe that the coil support within in the mattress has weakened but one cannot see it because of the pillowtop. 6 months after owning this mattress, I began experiencing muscle spasms in my lower back and shoulders and have been visiting a Chiropractor ever since. I never considered it could be on account of this cratered torture device. A month ago, I went on vacation and during my week's stay sleeping in a different bed, all of my neck, shoulder and back pains went away. The first morning after being back home and sleeping in our bed brought the return of my nagging body aches. Within 30 minutes of laying in bed, my hip aches so bad that I have to turn over. This constant flipping to aleviate hip discomfort has prevented me from feeling like I've had a restful night of sleep, in ages. If you are reading this review, PLEASE take my experience into consideration if you are contemplating purchasing a Simmons Beautyrest, no-flip, pillow-top mattress. You WILL regret your purchase and will find yourself in the market for a replacement. After extensive research regarding mattresses, I have just placed an order with a company called, "Flobeds". I can't wait for our new latex bed to arrive. Luckily, bulk trash pick-up in my neighborhood isn't far off and you can be assured that our Beautyrest is going to be curbside.

Pros & Cons
Pros: Seemed to be a well-made, firm, pillowtop.
Cons: Didn't last a year

Disappointed

This was our first foray into pillowtops coming out of a 17 yr-old Perfect Sleeper set. I loved the soft feel of the pillowtop in the store, and for the first week, it was as fine a sleep experience as I'd ever had. Unfortunately, the P/T showed body indentations of about 1" in the 2nd week (which I personally believe is excessive). Worse, I started having problems in my upper back, which I've never had before. I don't know if this was just an adjustment issue, a problem with a too-soft P/T, or something about the Simmons pocketed coil that my back doesn't like. In light of information I came across later that Simmons' pocketed coils are neither durable nor long lasting, we've made the decision to return the product in favor of S&F. Just for the record, while I think the higher end Latitudes/Exceptionale products are superior to the Beautyrest World Class line, I just can't see paying in excess of $2K for anything but S&F.

Pros & Cons
Pros: Feels wonderful in the store Seems like a good value for a premium pillowtop
Cons: Indentations after only a week Firmer than it feels in the store
