Ditch Mattress

My $1500.00 stearns & foster mattress that I have owned for 2 months is terrible! I weigh 120 lbs & all night I go from one indentation to another & wake up with a back ache. I am ready to start a class action law suit naming stearns & foster in the complaint. Want to join?

Pros & Cons
Pros: There are no pros. We bought a stearns & foster king mattress 14 years ago & it is perfect. Did the company change hands?
Cons: very uncomfortable after laying in one spot for an hour or two, there is a big ditch---I move to another spot, same thing, then usually make it to the third spot till morning. Hate it!!!

Do Not Buy a Stearns & Foster Mattress - It will not Last

My wife and I purchased a Stearns & Foster - Chestnut Street Luxury Firm mattress from Mattress Discounters in March of 2011. Within the next 18 months, the sides began to bulge out and it’s only gotten worse. Do not let the different model names fool you. They just change the names for their various retailers. Of course the mattress does come with a warranty, but after reading the many post of unsuccessful customers, we’ve chosen the ultimate customer revenge. We will never buy another Stearns & Foster or Sealy product. Let the buyer beware. When we were shopping for this mattress, the guy at the Mattress Factory store warned us about this issue.

Pros & Cons
Pros: We chose this mattress because it had the best initial feel to any other mattress we tried.
Cons: These mattresses will not last. If you like changing mattresses every couple years - go for it.

Stearn & Foster Lux Estate King

Purchased this mattress (firm) about 1.5 yrs ago. Was ok for about 6months or so then gradually started to sag. I rotated this heavy beast about every 6-8 wks and now both sides sag and I wake up several times during the night with shoulder, hip and back pains. I have instituted an active warranty claim. We'll see what happens. This is undoubtedly the worst and most expensive piece of crap I've ever purchased. I would not recommend this mattress to my worst enemy. I'm 6ft and 200lbs and don't think my size should have contributed to the eroding of this mattress in this short of time.

Pros & Cons
Pros: Comfortable for a few months now sleeping in a lumpy, sagging trough.
Cons: Sags and now painfully uncomfortable and my king sized sheets from my other bed are too short for this beast.
