Innomax Sam's Club 100% Organic Mattress

Prior to this I purchased a different latex mattress. Due to wool and cotton batting in that mattress, it developed a body impression in just a few days. Back it went.

Which is what I love about this mattress: It has hardly any padding on top of the latex. Just a very thin layer of wool and a nice organic knit cover over that. Nothing to compress, nothing to bunch up, nothing to create an uneven sleeping surface. If you'd like a little padding, you can put a 1 or 2" wool topper on top of it, or whatever. IMO, this is a much better solution than having these materials built-in where you cannot tailor them to your own preference. This way you can add, remove or replace them as desired. Personally, I like it as is.

The only way this mattress is going to sag is if you don't have a proper foundation underneath it.

I purchased this mattress as a last-ditch effort before going with FloBeds. It was cheaper, and zero risk because if I didn't like it, Sam's Club would simply come and pick it up and refund my money.

It is a firm mattress, which I ascertained by examining its published Dunlop latex ILDs and doing a modicum of due diligence. If you aren't seeking a firm latex mattress, look elsewhere. If you are, you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying this out. It is very well made and I've been incredibly happy with it -- and am considering purchasing two more.

Three years ago my wife and I decided to purchase a new mattress. She suffers from lower back pain and I have been struggling with insomnia and somnambulism since childhood. A friend suggested that we try out a Savvy Rest latex-core mattress, so we visited the Savvy Sleeper showroom in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dominick, the gentleman who assisted us, was extremely helpful in determining what type of mattress would best suit our needs. Given my wife’s bad back and the fact that I sleep on my stomach, he suggested that we try a Tranquility model with medium and firm density layers. Dominick even disassembled one of the showroom models and reassembled it so that we could try out this configuration on the spot. Between the product and the customer service we were sold.

The mattress was quite easy to assemble and took no longer than ten to fifteen minutes. Assembly did not require any special tools or skills (thankfully), and I was able to do it by myself after watching the instructional video at the Savvy website. The latex layers themselves were a bit unwieldy – we have a king bed – but nevertheless manageable. Anybody could put one of these things together.

My impression after sleeping on the mattress overnight was that it was both firm and soft at the same time. We bought a firm configuration in light of our medical conditions and sleep styles, and the combination of firm and medium Dunlop provides the support that we need without feeling like a plank. We tried out several traditional mattresses before settling upon Savvy, and none of them seemed to strike a good balance between support and comfort. The softs were too soft and the firms were too firm. Our latex mattress keeps us in the Goldilocks zone.

I believe that the mattress has been beneficial to our health, as well as our comfort. My wife’s back pain has subsided somewhat, and I find it easier to go to sleep and stay asleep. I also find it easier to wake and get out of bed, which has been perhaps the greatest benefit of all. It sets the tone for the whole day.

I have learned that the value of a good night’s sleep is incalculable. The quality of waking life is determined to a large extent by the quality of sleep, and I sleep better now than ever before. I would grant the Savvy Rest latex-core mattress my highest recommendation.

I was a bit hesitant to get at first about the Dr Breus Bed, but now after my old spring mattress I can feel what a difference this bed makes and both my wife and me are sleeping a 1000 times better. We went to the store and tried out several of the models and ordered a signature Platinum. Although we lay down on the bed in the store, there I no substitute for sleeping on it. After the first night the bed was a little softer then we preferred, and my wife called back the store and told our salesperson Wendy the story. We both wanted something more firm, which is the Signature Elite. Wendy went through the exchange, a new Dr Breus mattress was delivered and it gets 4 thumbs Up from us best mattress we have ever owned.
