Are these defects typical in FBM Lux-R foam?

I got this today from FBM and was surprised to see some pretty deep rip/tears in the foam. This is Lux-R.

I did email FBM to see what they say but just curious if others receive similar defects in their foam? Will this affect the foam's longevity and should i be able to fix it adequately with ordinary elmer's glue?

i don't know but after i received my latex topper i wonder also, holes are missing all over it, when i can post some pics i will .
