first, my stats: female, 5' 10" and my weight stays between 135-140. I am primarily a side sleeper but I also sometimes stomach and back sleep.
I told Dave that I liked the idea of soft in the shoulder area (Vzone) but I definitely want firm in the him area. so he suggested medium vzone over medium over firm. So here's my question:
If I place a firm zone in the hip region but that sits on top of a medium core, is that going to offer enough support? It seems most people here get at least med/firm/xfirm (which is what he recommended for my husband's side), so I am concerned about med/med/firm being to soft. I expressly indicated that I don't want to sink in too much (except at the shoulder area when I side sleep).
What happens when you place a firmer core over a softer core? I mean doesn't the softer core just get squished then and lose functionality?
What do you guys think?
