Looking for a Queen size mattress(lower back pain)

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a new queen size mattress. I suffer from lower back and sleep over my stomach. I plan to use this mattress just for 3 years and after that I'll probably discard ir or give it away, I'm not looking for something to use for the next 10 years. My budget is up to $1,000(preferably under $800). Please let me know what do you guys recommend me getting. I'm 5'6"/135 lb .

My number one advice, as a physical therapist who specializes in low back pain, is to stop sleeping on your stomach. I know that it's hard, but even you can stop sleeping on your stomach.

With regards to the mattress, get a decent ultra firm inner spring mattress and try it out. If that is too hard for you, then try different densities of latex or memory foam until you get it right. There is no one mattress that is right for everyone and you're just going to have to do a little bit of experimentation.
